Cusco offers quite a variety of day hikes; we also offer hikes that allow you to get better acclimatized in case you have planned longer hikes at a later time which require you to be in high altitudes (over 13.000 feet).
The day hikes we recommend for acclimatization are Lake Humantay (Salkantay) and Vinicunca or Rainbowmountains.
If you prefer to do hikes off the beaten trek which are very interesting we offer the following hikes: Huchoy Qosqo, Condor Canyon Chonta, the 3 Canyons of Espinar, The view point of Raqaypata, The fortress of Waqrapukara and the Sun Gate above Ollantaytambo.
